In the Vineyard

Bud-burst was about a week earlier than usual – warm soil temperatures together with gentle spring rain provided a great start to another season. In our 18 years at Pisa, Central Otago we can’t recall such a mild winter and the vines are loving the growing conditions. So far there have been few frosts – lets hope it stays that way as we come into flowering.
